All of the above are Marvel Comics Prop Replicas made by a company called Factor X, and are about 10 years old. I think Diamond Select is re-releasing Thor's Hammer soon, but I have yet to hear if it will be of the same quality.
Thor's Hammer (Mjolnir) is made from a solid block of aluminum, with the words "Whosoever hold this hammer, if he be worthy, shall pocess the power of...THOR" etched into it's face. The handle is 13 inches long, made of wood (stained), and wrapped in two layers of soft leather (dark and light brown), one of which ends as an adjustable strap (or thong) at the bottom. Weight of hammer is 5-6lbs.
Captain America's Shield is almost 2 1/2 feet across, made of sheet metal, and fully painted with ( I believe) a heated acrylic glaze on both the front and back. The rings and the star on the front of the shield are painted with very sharp lines and are perfectly symmetrical. The back features a non-glossy version of the same deep blue color that surrounds the star on the front, as well as two 2 inch leather straps bolted on at the top and bottom, plus a peg for hanging the shield on it's wall mounted plaque.
